Back on track

After a week off due to a colicky baby, weather, holidays and just about everything else you can count on to throw me off track, I am back on track and two days in to my restarted workouts! I LOVE Focus T25!! 25 minutes and I'm done, Got a good sweat on, got my heart rate up there and kept it there! 25 minutes and that's it! Anyone can do that! After just two days I feel better, have more energy and am actually looking forward to the next workout!

Shakes and meals are going well. Adjusting slightly to a low gluten diet for my daughters sake but still able to ind good healthy cleaner recipes to make for my family! I love being a healthier mom, cooking healthier for my kids and hubby! I am setting my family up for a healthy long life making smart choices.

I will try each week to post my planned meals for the week and share my recipes (most of which I find on Pinterest or are shared on my wall on FB.)

Journeys beginning.....

February 2013.... I started a 10 day Beachbody fitness Challenge group coached by my friend Amy. another friend Alyson joined as well. I convinced Corey to follow along and work out with me, eat better and just try it! At the end of the 10 days, I was down 6 pounds and 6 inches. Corey had similar results.

I signed up for the 90 day challenge starting early march. Got going dropped a few more pounds even with an injury preventing me from doing full workouts, and..... got pregnant with our second child. Of course I stopped the shakes and modified workouts until i got clearance from the doctor. I ate healthy, did what exercise I could and did not gain weight until the third trimester when I ended up on bedrest. 

I delivered my beautiful baby girl on November 14th, 2013 and within a week was back in regular jeans, and within two weeks was back to the weight I was when I started the 90 day challenge. I had known since halfway through my pregnancy I was signing up as a beachbody coach and achieving my goals as soon as I was cleared to do so by the doctors. 

So here I am. I am 4 weeks post partum, still waiting for medical clearane to do real workouts but I have signed up as a BB coach, am getting ready for my first 90 day challenge and will be getting healthy, losing weight and wowing my family and friends.
